Only shop for these things if it’s within your budget.
I like to remind people of two things.
#1) You can budget for anything you’d like. You don’t have to live a life of deprivation to be frugal.
#2) Don’t shop just to shop. No matter how far something is marked down, it isn’t a good deal if you don’t need it and you haven’t budgeted for it.
I’m not telling you “don’t shop.” I’m just suggesting you be mindful of what you purchase.
What do you like to buy at the post-Thanksgiving sales?
Do you shop after Thanksgiving for anything in particular? What are the best deals that you’ve seen? Let’s talk about it in the comments.

I go for clearance spices sometimes, or things like clearance pancake mix. Later in the year I also buy as many in-shell nuts as I can! They are so great for storage and I’m still working off the ones I bought last year. Great article!
